Sewing Resistance. Stitching Legacy. Transforming Lives.
At Brown Girls Sew, we believe sewing is more than a hobby, it’s a life skill, a healing art, and a cultural legacy. With over 25 years of experience as a licensed art teacher and textile artist, Dr. Jayé McNair Obaseki offers immersive programs that help Black and Brown girls build confidence, creativity, and critical thinking through the textile arts.
From healing dolls to identity quilts, every offering is rooted in culture, empowerment, and transformation.
